Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday praised the people of Odisha for their warmth and hospitality during the Men’s Hockey World Cup-2018 that concluded on Sunday at the Kalinga Stadium here.
“Congratulations to the people and Government of Odisha for their warmth and hospitality,” he Tweeted. The Hockey World Cup in Odisha has been a treat for sports lovers, he added.
The 14th edition of the Men’s Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men’s national field hockey teams, was held at the stadium from November 28 to December 16.
