NTPC Korba observes ‘Vigilance Awareness Week 2018’

Hundreds of school children came together with their innovative ideas reflected in the form of posters  depicting slogans to wipe out corruption from public life, thereby making way for a New India, a NTPC press release informed here on Wednesday.

The programme was held at Hockey Ground located at NTPC Township at Jamnipali in Korba in Chhattisgarh.

A slew of programmes have been rolled out to mark the celebration of Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2018 at NTPC Korba.

Earlier, inaugurating the week-long celebration, S N Sharma, DSP, CBI, Raipur appreciated the efforts of NTPC Korba in spreading the message of Vigilance Awareness Week among  its stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion, N K Sinha, Executive Director, NTPC Korba appealed to the employees to uphold one of the core values of the Maharatna Company— Transparency, at all cost.

SC Mittal, AGM, Vigilance. NTPC Korba welcomed the dignitaries. It is to be noted here that several programmes are being conducted in view of Vigilance Awareness Week at NTPC Korba including walkathon, pledge taking ceremony, street play, competitions in schools and colleges to spread awareness on the subject.

Among others,  S M Chauthaiwale, GM (O&M),  C Dakshinamurthy, GM (Technical Services),  D N Tiwari, GM (Maintenance),  Asit Dutta, GM (Operation,  Basuraj Goswami, GM (Fuel Management), HODs, employees, members of Unions and Associations were present.
