RUSU poll results teach JMM, Cong lesson: Pratul

Thursday, 06 December 2018 | PNS | Ranchi

State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdev congratulated the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on the grand success of the Ranchi University Students Union elections on Wednesday. Taking a dig at the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, he said, the parties had dreamt of taking reigns of Jharkhand and the youths of Ranchi University have showed them the mirror. Taking a dig at Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Shahdeo said that under the leadership of Congress’ imported president in the State, NSUI had achieved 100 per cent success in the student union polls. “In the last election the NSUI had not able to even open its account. This time NSUI won one seat among the total 80 seats,” he said. Shahdev said that Hemant Soren was called the youth’s heartthrob in his party. “But, the student union of this young hearted emperor got only two seats in the Ranchi University election, which is only 2.5 per cent of the total result. It became clear from the fact that among the youth, they have no credentials,” he added. Shahdev said before the election the leaders of the Congress and JMM had made tall claims, but in the Ranchi University student union elections the youth supported the ABVP. “It has become clear that in the State's politics nationalist thinking is also given priority. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress leaders should take lessons from this big and shameful defeat,” he said.
