After getting considerable representation in the Chhattisgarh State Assembly, I am satisfied that my outfit of Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (JCC) (Jogi) has emerged as a third front, former Chief Minister and party Supremo Ajit Jogi said on Tuesday.
“The bipolar politics of the State and the emergence of a regional party as a third force and showing its presence itself was an achievement”, he said while addressing a press conference here.
Jogi further claimed that if Congress leadership was declined by the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ and Congress is excluded from the alliance, regional parties would be able to prove as an alternative to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the general elections of 2019.
JCC (J) will also be an essential member of the alliance of the regional parties and will play an important role for it from Chhattisgarh, he said.
