State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Dharamlal Kaushik on Monday said the Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) before holding discussions for pre-poll alliance had already indicated that the Congress party’s ideology has became ‘irrelevant’.
The GGP is showing mirror to the Congress. It (GGP) had asked the Congress to clear its stand on the alliance, he said in a statement here.
Kaushik said situation can be gauged from fact that before entering into the alliance with Congress, even the regional parties are either seeking to know the party’s stand or are keeping a distance from forming any alliance.
Despite this, it is paradoxical that both Central and State-level leadership of Congress party are still not coming out of their day dreaming, he said.
The situation is that the national party has to reply to the local parties while the regional parties are entering into alliance to save their own existence, Kaushik said.
He advised that Congress leadership do politics by remaining positive in outlook but commented that it cannot be expected from its leadership.
Earlier, Bahujan Samaj Party and Communist Party of India used to speak the same language of the Congress but now situation is that both are keeping distance, Kaushik said.
He said the reason can be that hateful politics towards BJP cannot stay for long period under same roof and the acute desire for power will only lead to falling of Congress base and whole alliance would then come to point of self-destruction.
