Water supply would be affected in parts of the national Capital on Wednesday and Thursday due to annual programme for flushing of underground reservoir and booster pumping station.
The areas where supply would not be available or available at low pressure on Tuesday are Nehru Apartments, Kalkaji Extension, Daryaganj, ITO, Matia Mahal, Meer Dard Road, Mata Sundari Road, 204/240 MIG Madipur, Old Farid Puri BPS, Tilak Nagar areas, GH-I/MIG Archana Apartment, Paschim Vihar, Rohini (Pocket 3 Sector-1, Sector-4 Pocket B-8), Ghogha Village, Burari, Khichripur, Kalyanpuri, Gharoli Village and Vinod Nagar, Pocket ABC Nand Nagari, C Block New Seemapuri, Kanti Nagar, Old Seelampur, Shankar Nagar and adjoining areas.
Further, the areas which would be affected on Thursday are Dwarka Sector-1, Faridpuri (New) area, H-Block Naraina Vihar, 208 SFS Madipur, AG-I Block Vikaspuri, GG-III Vikaspuri area, Budh Vihar, Madangir and adjoining areas, Panchsheel Enclave, Pkt.17 Sector-22 Rohini, A Block Pocket 4 Sector-18, GH2 Ankur Apartment, Paschim Vihar, C-Block (New) Kalkaji, H-Block Harkesh Nagar, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar and adjoining areas, Kasabpura, Deputy Ganj, Slaughter House, Nabi Karim, Sadar Bazar, Telewara, Pocket E Nand Nagari, Geeta Nagar, Kailash Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Jheel, Raghubarpura, Old Seelampura, Mahila Colony,Shivpuri, Khureji and Chander Nagar and adjoining areas, Khichripur, Kalyanpuri, Gharoli Village and Vinod Nagar and adjoining areas.
The Delhi Jal Board has advised residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirement.
