BSNL customers to enjoy unlimited offers for this festive season

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced an unlimited voucher—STV-78 on the occasion of Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali for all its prepaid mobile customers. The new STV 78 offers unlimited data, unlimited voice calls and unlimited video calls, having validity of 10 days. This offer is effective from October 15 on a pan-India basis. The CMD of BSNL said that STV-78 will suit all and will enable them to be in touch with their friends and family during this festive season.

NSD Workers Union’s new office bearers

A general election among the staff of National School of Drama Workers Union was held recently where Ramavtar Singh Meena was elected as the president; Mukesh Kumar as the vice president; Satbir Singh became the new general secretary; Dharamveer Singh was elected as the secretary and Parwati Bisht became the cashier.

A tribute to Kishore Kumar

The cultural programme organised by the Kishore Kumar Memorial Club at the Pyarelal Bhawan to pay tribute to the legendary playback singer was graced by the Union Minister of Tourism K J Alphons, as the chief guest. Alphons released a book written by the general secretary of the club, Kamal Dhiman, on the life and times of Kishore Kumar, titled— ‘Filmmaker Kishore Kumar' on the occasion.

SPMCIL's  SC, ST & OBC employees meet for training

The Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) recently organised the 7th Interaction Meeting of the scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and other backward class employees of its nine units at the India Government Mint, Kolkata. The meeting was inaugurated by SPMCIL's Director (HR) S K Sinha. A one-day training program was also conducted in association with the National Productivity Council titled—‘Developing Competencies in Manufacturing Environment.’

38th Trade Fair in Delhi From Nov 14-27

The 38th edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) is going to be held at Pragati  Maidan in New Delhi from November 14 to 27 with the theme—‘Rural Enterprises in India’. As many as 800 participants are expected to participate this year. The Republic of Afghanistan is the Partner Country while the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is the Focus Country. The ‘Focus State’ status has been accorded to ‘Jharkhand’. Added attractions to the visitors are the state day celebrations.

Muthoot Group's AI-bots launched

The Muthoot Group has become the first in the NBFC sector to launch its chatbot-MATTU (Muthoot Advanced Technology Transformation Unit) and MITTU (Muthoot Intelligent Technology Transformation Utility). The bots are an Artificial Intelligence powered Virtual Assistant which will offer 24/7 customer assistance and instantly respond to customer queries across The Muthoot Group's diverse products and services ranging from gold loan, insurance, money transfer, forex, mutual funds, home loans and so on. The AI-bot is also said to act as a financial advisor to break myths around Muthoot's flagship product-gold loans, and enable customers to make informed decisions.

Vineet Gulati is AAI’s new Member (ANS)

Vineet Gulati has taken over the charge of Member (Air Navigation Services) on the Board of the Airports Authority of India. Prior to this appointment, he has served at AAI in various capacities, as Executive Director (Air Traffic Management), General Manager (Air Traffic Flow Management) and Air Traffic Controller in ATC Centers at various international airports.
