Anushka records a rare feat

Actress Anushka Sharma has created a new record of sorts by recording a success both as an actress in Sui Dhaaga as well as a producer in Pari. It is an extremely rare feat and one has to jog memory to remember if any other actress has achieved this feat in a year. She too was pleasantly surprised. She said, “The idea has always been to do films and to do roles with a unique voice and perspective. My choices have always been unconventional, and I can say for myself that I’ve never walked the beaten path and what I feel is the right thing to do, but the most important thing is that those unconventional choices gets appreciated and applauded. This is my true accomplishment.”

Actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has taken a break from the micro-blogging site Twitter as it's “too negative.” She tweeted, “I'm going off twitter for a while. It's just too negative. Peace and love to all.” A Twitter user wrote: “Sonam, it's because of people like you, who don't use public transport or less fuel consumption vehicles. Your luxury car gives three/four km per litre mileage, 10/20 ACs in your house are equally responsible for global warming. First control your pollution.” Sonam tweeted to respond, “And it’s because of men like you that women find it difficult to use public transport for fear of being harassed.”

Will does the bhangra

Actor Will Smith showed some bhangra moves as he spoke about having a Bollywood dance sequence on his bucket list, while also opening up on his childhood, struggle as an artiste, dealing with failure and setting the goal for himself to be the best film star. Smith was in conversation with actor-singer-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. Farhan taught him some bhangra moves, which the actor proudly showed off to the audience at the summit. “One of the things on my bucket list is to be on a Bollywood dance sequence,” he said.
