Chief Secretary Sudhi Ranjan Mohanty said that Madhya Pradesh has established its excellence in agriculture production. The state is now leading towards industrialization. The Netherland is best in its industrial techniques. The mutual coordination of agriculture production and industrial techniques will be beneficial for both Madhya Pradesh and Netherland.
Mohanty was addressing the seminar organised on the scope of investment by Netherland in agriculture and food processing sector here on Tuesday.
The Counsel General of Netherland Guido Tielman, Chief General Manager of NABARD SK Bansal, Officers of the Indian Council of Agriculture Research including delegates of various organizations working in the field of food processing, warehousing, cold storage and development of high breed seed were present at the seminar organized at Hotel Jehanuma.
Mohanty further said that the Chief Minister Kamal Nath has a clear opinion that the government will give more concession to those industries which provide more employment to the local people of the state. He mentioned that the state has seven climatic regions. Grains, oilseed, spices and pulses are produced in abundance in the state. Farmers and technique providing companies will be benefitted equally if proper technique for warehousing and food processing of these produces is provided. Informing about the infrastructural capability and resources of the state, Mohanty said that there is a good scope of investment for the companies of Netherland in cold storage, ware housing, silo including food processing sector in the state.
