An excise squad conducted raids in Khorda town and seized 16 kg of ganja worth Rs 80,000 and arrested four persons in this connection on Monday.
The arrestees were identified as Dasharathi Naik (26) of Nuagaon in Nayagarh distrtict and Md Kabut Ullah Sk (19), Md Asik Sk (25) and Md Suraj Sk (20) of Malda district in West Bengal. They had all brought the ganja from Kandhamal district.
All the accused were later produced in the Additional District and Sessions Judge court here.
