In a road mishap, two students were run over by a speeding truck while another suffered grievous injuries on the Nayapalli flyover here on Saturday.
The identities of the deceased and the injured students were yet to be ascertained.
The three youths who were travelling by a motorcycle were hit by the truck. While two students died on the spot, the other was seriously injured and was rushed to a private hospital here before being shifted to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.
The truck driver fled from the spot abandoning his vehicle. On receiving information, the Nayapalli police reached the spot and seized the truck.
