Bemetara Collector Mahadev Kaware on Saturday conducted surprise inspection in different departments from 10.30am and found around 21 officers-employees were absent.
Collector also found that several employees have not arrived at the office during the scheduled office timing. He then directed to issue show-cause notices to all the absentee officers and employees.
Collector had conducted inspection of District Transport Office, ITI, Janpad Panchayat and Municipal Council office. The surprise inspection was conducted after several complaints were received against the officers and employees are either not attending the office or coming late. Collector has also issued warning of disciplinary action if officers and employees show laxity in government duty.
