A group of 24 farmers and three officials from Jharkhand departed for the capital city of Israel Tel Aviv from New Delhi on Tuesday. Before their departure Chief Minister Raghubar Das interacted with the contingent on Monday evening and wished them luck for their trip.
The delegation will have an interaction with the stakeholders contributing to Israel’s agriculture sector. They will also be informed about how less water can be used to maximise production.
Deputy Commissioner of Pakur Kuldeep Chaudhary is leading the team. Deputy Department of Agriculture Department Vikas Kumar and District Land Conservation Officer, Ranchi Anil Kumar are also part of the group.
The 24 farmers include Ambika Prasad Kushwaha from Deoghra, Nitish Anand from Godda and Rajesh Kumar Yadav from Sahibganj among others.
