4 held while trying to drill hole in gold company office for robbery

The Delhi police has arrested four criminals who were planning to commit burglary on the premises of Manappuram Gold Finance Limited in North West Delhi area. Police said the accused, who had taken a godown on rent situated behind the Manappuram office in Singalpur village in Shalimar Bagh area, were caught red handed while trying to drill a hole in Manappuram office wall for the purpose of robbery. 

The accused have been identified as Panchu Ram Mandal, Pheku Basak, Mohijur, all three residents of Sahibganj district in Jharkhand and Nirjan Joshi, a resident of Kanchanpur district in Nepal.

According to Vijyanta Arya, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), North West district, on Sunday, specific inputs were received at around 2: 30 pm regarding some suspicious people who had recently moved into the area.
