Four persons were injured in a violent clash fuelled with old enmity at Dhobi Ghat under Talaiya police station area in the evening on Monday.
Police said that injured were rushed to a nearby hospital after they the two groups attacked with shard edged weapons and blade. The injured were reportedly stable and later discharged after providing treatment.
The incident took place at around 8.30 in the night when the victim Usman was near his house when the accused Gufran came and started to abuse him. The victim tried to stop him but accused engaged in a verbal spate attacked him with sharp edged weapon and escaped the spot.
Few minutes later Usman along with Mohan Batham attacked Gufran with belt. In the fight Gufran’s mobile phone was damaged by the Usman and Mohan. Based on the complaint by Usman the police have registered a case of assault against Gufran and on the complaint lodged by Gufran police have registered case of assault against Usman.
