40-yr-old motorcyclist dies in road accident

A 40-year-old man died after his motorbike rammed into a road divider near Ashima Mall under Baghsewania police station area late in the night on Wednesday.

Police said that an injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment. The deceased identified as Vinod Avchare was on his way to house at Bagh Mughalia riding on his bike when he met accident.

In the initial investigation police found that the deceased was drunk at the time of the accident which is prime reason behind the accident.

At the time of accident motorbike skid and rammed into a road divider in which he sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to the injuries

The police was informed and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The body was sent for the post mortem. After the preliminary investigation police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.

Deceased used to work as labour and was returning from work. The post mortem report is awaited which could reveal the detail that deceased was drunk and he met accident or he was hit by some other vehicle.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old youth was electrocuted after he came into contact with live wires in her house at Ratibad area on Wednesday.

According to police, the deceased, Aman Meena was electrocuted after he came into contact with wires and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment. After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for post-mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC.
