40th NTPC Junior National Archery Contest organised

Under the 40th NTPC Junior National Archery Contest organised in the City State Sports Complex, various matches were played here on Sunday.

In the individual boys and girls played in the 30 and 40 meters of the competition.

In the 30-meter competition of Girls category, Deepi Kumari of Jharkhand won the first place, Shrikrakiba from Gujarat won second place and Reshimin Abedin of Assam remained at the third place. Besides, in the 40 meters competition, Kirtibala Jhala of Gujarat won first prize, Jharkhand's player Nikita won the second place and Uttar Pradesh's player Deepika was in third place.

Moreover, in the 40-meter competition played in the boys category, Satyam Gupta of Uttar Pradesh won the first prize, Gaurav Chandane of Maharashtra won the second prize and Rohit Kumar of Uttar Pradesh remained at the third place. In the same way, Rohit of Haryana won the first prize, Monu Kumar =of Delhi was second in the 30 meters. Under the competition, the top 16 teams in the Olympic Round were selected for Team Fight in the Girls, Girl and Mixed Team event, whose results will be decided on Monday.

The 40th Junior National Archery Contest aims to create talented players in archery competition which can earn medals for state and country.

It is to be noted that government is committed to give maximum opportunities for talent show to the players of the state in national and international competitions.

All the participants in the junior national archery competition are giving brilliant performances.
