The Uttarakhand Government would undertake mission Antyodaya survey of the entire village Panchayats and prepare Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) from December 2 this year to March 2 next year. Gaps in the executions of the projects would be identified by the survey and the GPDP would be prepared by the Panchayati Raj department.
The principal secretary rural development, Manisha Panwar chaired a meeting of the GPDP campaign at the state secretariat on Saturday. She said that an orientation workshop of village Pradhans should be organised at the block level. She said that only such works should be taken up in the projects which are in conversant with the norms of the department concerned. In the meeting the PS was informed that photography, videography and documentation of all the activities during the campaign would be done and should be uploaded on the portal daily. A training programme for usage of the Mission Antyodaya Mobile App would also be held at the level of every village panchayat. All the linear departments would have to provide the data related with their departments compulsorily and they would nominate frontline workers in every Gram Sabha.
The additional secretary/ commissioner rural development department would act as a nodal officer at state level for the survey while the additional director Panchayati Raj would be the nodal officer of Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas programme. In the districts the district magistrates (DM) concerned would be the nodal officers while CDO would work as coordinating officer. The assitional secretary Panchayati Raj S C Semwal and other officers were present in the meeting.
