BHEL, Bhopal— as a part of the Swachchhta Campaign started on October 02, 2014 by the Prime Minister of India — organised a week-long Swachhta Pakhwada. DK Thakur Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal, initiated the pakhwada (fortnight) by administering the Swachchhta pledge to all the employees of the unit.
A massive cleanliness drive was also carried out in the HVOF Block where each employee extended their hand in cleaning activity. A circular banning the use of plastic has also been circulated among all the employees educating the employees about the ill-effects of plastic.
During the week massive cleanliness drive will be carried out in the entire factory as well as the township along with various competitions of the subject of Swachhta will be held.
Meanwhile, as a part of the ongoing Hindi month celebration in BHEL, Bhopal; a noting drafting & translation competition was held on Saturday at DTG Conference Hall. On this occasion PK Mishra General
Manager (Hydro) was present as the Chief Guest while RB Patil AGM (STM) was present as the Guest of Honour. Amit Baran Chakraborty Deputy Manager and Amarjit Kumar Pandey were present as the members of the Jury.
