State BJP Spokeperson Pratul Sahdeo today termed Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s proposed ‘Badlav Yatra’ a drama. He said that before thinking of bringing a change in the State, the Soren family and top leadership of JMM should change their corrupt thinking. Shahdeo said that first of all they should change the thinking of capturing tribal land, according to which they have captured hundreds of acres of tribal land violating laws in the State. “The Soren family should also change their thoughts of weakening the Gram Sabha. It was Hemant Soren, who weakened the Gram Sabhas by snatching their rights and gave the rights of Sand Ghats to his friends from Mumbai.
The top leadership of JMM should also change their thoughts about using tribals and original residents of the State as vote banks. The party kept the tribal and original residents of the State miles away from development. So much so that when it came to grant tickets of Rajya Sabha they used to give the tickets to capitalists,” said the BJP Spokesperson.
He further added that the real development of the tribal and original residents’ groups began in the regime of Raghubar Das.
He said that the JMM should also change its thoughts about dynastic politics because all top posts of the party are manned by the Soren family members.
The JMM should begin with these internal changes before thinking about bringing changes in the State, he added.
