BSNL refutes rumours of its closure

Jharkhand Circle of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has denied all rumours of the government owned telecom firm closing down rumours which have been doing the rounds for the past few years.

The Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications has also denied all these reports.

BSNL will not only continue to provide its services but is also in the process of introducing new schemes to serve its customers better.

As per the new FRC 106 for prepaid numbers, customers will get unlimited calls to any network, 1 GB data per data and 100 SMS per day for 24 days.

With the 153 voucher plan, customers can get 1.5 GB unlimited time data per day and 100 SMS per day for 328 days.

 For the annual plan of 1699, customers will now get 3.5 GB data per day and unlimited calls to any network for 455 days instead of 365 days.

Recently the service provider has also started 4G services in two remote districts of Jharkhand circle.

Along with UIDAI, it has also started providing services of making new Aadhar or changes in the existing ones. This service is being provided across all districts of Jharkhand.

BSNL is also upgrading its landline to NGN- Next Generation Network. While expanding the fibre network (FTTH), the Jharkhand Telecom Circle is providing FTTH in the remote villages of the State at attractive prices.

All channel partners associated with BSNL are providing facilities to customers across Jharkhand. Channel partner outlets also have various telecom services available for customer’ convenience.

Chief General Manager Telecom, Jharkhand Circle KK Thakur has urged the customers to not believe these rumours and make the use of the services for their commercial and domestic operations.

 BSNL is always eager to provide excellent service for all telecom requirements anywhere in the State he said.
