A clerk of the Sarbati Devi Women’s College in Rajgangpur of Sundargarh district has been placed under suspension for allegedly making casteist remarks against a woman employee of the educational institution.
The clerk, identified as Panu Charan Paikray, was suspended after the woman staffer lodged a complaint with police against the college Principal, a teacher and the clerk. She has alleged that the three were making casteist remarks against her besides misbehaving with her.
On the other hand, the college managing committee has written to the State Government for transfer of the Principal.
