CM Das asks voters to defeat JVM in Godda after Koderma

Wednesday, 15 May 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today asked people in Deoghar to vote for BJP and finish JVM(P) from Godda. While addressing an election rally in Deoghar on Tuesday the CM said that JVM Chief Babulal Marandi was finished in Koderma, now it’s the turn of people in Godda to eliminate JVM(P).

The CM said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and JVM have been playing destructive politics. “The State has suffered a huge loss due to communal and caste based politics. They (JMM and JVM) has been exploiting people of different castes in  the name of castes only. Now, the JMM, JVM and Congress have changed their face and formed a coalition for looting the masses of the State and the country,” he said. Das said that the JMM has been selling the State for last 14 years. “For over a decade the party has been involved in looting the State, snatching land from poor tribals and violating the CNT and SPT Act for buying tribal land.

Now, they are misleading the people that BJP will snatch the land of poor people,” he said asking JMM chief Shibu Soren and JMM executive president Hemant Soren as to what they did for the State being Chief Minister.

The CM said that in last four and half years they gave a spotless government. “Opposition cannot level any charges on us. But, the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ made an independent MLA Chief Minister of the State and executed a scam worth Rs 4,000 crore. It caused image loss to the State in the country.

The people in the opposition camp are giving slogan of ‘Modi Hatao’, they do not have development as their motto because they are not able to touch the treasure of the country.

They are afraid that if Modi comes back some will land in Tihar jail and others will land in Hotwar jail. This is because they have looted the treasure of the State,” said the CM.

Appealing people to rise above caste and religion the CM said that the government has not done divisive politics since 2014. “Works have been done for women, youth, villagers, poor, oppressed and people from socially excluded sections of society and the benefits were also given to the common man.

Now, you have to decide whether you want a government of scams or a spotless government. You all show social harmony and help the lotus bloom. Rise above caste and religion while voting. Each one of your vote will help Modi,” he said.
