Deputy Commissioner, Garhwa, Harsh Mangala expressed dissatisfaction after reviewing the progress of Ayushman Bharat Scheme in the district. Holding a review meeting with the Civil Surgeon Dr. N K Rajak the DC directed to fix a review meeting with all the tagged hospital heads.
During review it was found that out of 10 tagged government hospitals only three have done satisfactory work.
These hospitals are Sadar Hospital, Garhwa, Community Health Centre (CHC) Majhiyaon, CHC Maral and Referral Hospital, Bhandariya, the DC said.
While others CHCs including CHC Bhawanathpur, CHC, Ranka, CHC, Ramna, Trauma centre Banshidhar Nagar have done very little in this scheme.
In all these, the maximum amount is 7,91,520 claimed by the by CHC Majhiyaon while Rs 5,78,990 - has been claimed by Sadar Hospital, Garhwa, Mangla added.
Among the private hospitals, 3 best performing hospitals include Maa Vaishnavi hospital, Bhawnathpur claimed maximum Rs 94 lakh, Parmeshwari Medical Center claimed Rs 74 lakh and Arogyam Hospital claimed Rs. 74 lakh under the scheme. There are 10 private hospitals, which claimed less than Rs 10 lakh.
The lowest claim in the district is of Vananchal Dental College, Farithia, it has claimed only Rs 500 till date.
