Delay in monsoon makes weather unpleasant

Moderate temperatures prevailed in the state and state capital on Tuesday while day temperatures have been recorded at the peak at 40 degree celsius weather conditions are still discomforting.

Delay in monsoon and fading pre-monsoon activities have made the weather conditions unpleasant.

Night temperatures were recorded high at few places in the state.

Khargone recorded the highest day temperature at 40.5 degree Celsius.

State capital recorded day temperature at 37.7 degree Celsius while day temperature was recorded at 26.6 degree Celsius.

Throughout the day partial cloudy weather conditions were witnessed.

The clouds fail to pour still providing relief from the harsh weather.

According to the forecast state capital would witness speedy winds and thundery activities in the next 24 hours.

The state capital would witness partial cloudy weather conditions.

In the past 24 hours Pandhana recorded 5 cm of rainfall which was the highest rainfall. Among other regions Gohad, Lahat recorded 4 cm of rainfall, Morena recorded 3 cm of rainfall, Morena, Umaria, Jabalpur, Khurai, Chhatarpur, Seoni and Amarkantak recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Few places in Chambal. Sagatr, Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, divisions and at isolated places in Indore, Gwalior, Bhopal and Raisen rainfall was recorded.

Significant change in the temperature were not witnessed. Jabalpur, Hoshangabad and Indore divisions recorded temperatures above normal temperatures.

Met department in the forecast claimed that in the next 24 hours around 14 districts are likely to witness thundery activities and light showers and speedy winds with a speed of 30-40 km/hr for brief periods.
