DGP VK Singh releases second edition of ‘Newsletter’

Second edition of News Letter published by police State headquarters CID was released by DGP VK Singh on Thursday at the state police headquarters.

The second edition was published under the guidance of Additional Director CID Rajiv Tandon.

The facts related to the crimes related to women and children, Narcotics, cyber crime etc. have been published and the publication of the factual information related to the judicial penalization and disclosure of criminal incidents has been published.

DGP Singh appreciated the content of the newsletter and wished for publication of more such News Letters in future. On the occasion of the release, ADG Rajiv Tandon, IG D. Shrinivas Verma, Assistant Police Inspector General, Kiranlata Kerketta and Mahaveer Mujalde and Inspector Mukhtar Qureshi were present. Meanwhile, summer training camp would be inaugurated at Motilal Nehru Stadium by Additional Director General of Police (DGP) Vijay Yadav at 6 in the evening on May 24 at Motilal

Nehru Stadium. The school children of families residing in police colonies along with other school children of nearby colonies will also participate in this summer training camp.

At the summer training camp around 600 children would attend the camp. The camp which would be organised for a month would witness professional trainers who would be providing training to the participants.

The summer camp more emphasis would be given on sports especially for traditional sports like Volleyball, hockey, kabaddi, handball and wrestling. Arrangements of training of 600 children have been made at the summer training camp.
