To rebuild Odisha that has been ravaged by the fury of cyclone Fani, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday urged people from all walks of life to donate generously to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
“Th cyclone has damaged our State but not our spirit. Please donate generously to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to rebuild Odisha,” Patnaik said, adding that the State Government is making all-out efforts to rebuild the damages as soon as possible.
Thanking people who have already donated for the cause, the CM said, “I am very grateful to your generosity.”
On Sunday, the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) donated Rs 100 crore to the CMRF while Asian Heart Institute Managing Director Ramakanta Panda contributed Rs 1.5 crore to the relief fund.
