The former mayor of Haridwar, Manoj Garg, said that he would like to contest the Lok Sabha election from Haridwar seat, raising the number of ticket aspirants from BJP to five till now.
Aside from the incumbent MP from Haridwar Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the district BJP president Naresh Bansal, advisor to the Chief Minister Narendra Singh and district Panchayat member Devyani look resolved to throw their hats in the ring, something which might leave the party top brass both in Delhi and Dehradun worried.
In the latest of the aspirants expressing resolve to contest from the crucial Haridwar Parliamentary seat, Manoj Garg, known to enjoy close proximity to the RSS leaders, said while talking to The Pioneer that he would like to try his electoral luck from the seat. However, he hastened to add that he would work for the party, irrespective of who the party chooses to field from the seat.
