Four new classrooms inaugurated in EDMC school

With an aim to provide best infrastructure in schools run by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC), Member of Parliament from East Delhi Gautam Gambhir inaugurated four new additional classrooms at Raghubarpura in East Delhi.

Addressing the gathering, Gambhir said that the construction of new classrooms in the school will enable more children to get education as it is the only way one can lead to positive change in our society.  He also initiated to plant saplings in school and guided children to plant more as to create a much greener environment.

Mayor of East Delhi, Anju said that corporation is providing maximum possible facilities to its students. “The children are the future of our nation and the corporation is trying its best to provide each and every possible facility to them,” she said.       

Standing committee chairman Sandeep Kapoor informed that additional four classrooms have been constructed on two floors at a cost of Rs 81.38 lakhs. “The new block built consists of separate toilets for girls and boys at each floor and ramps for physically disabled.
