G’gram Sec-67 to get first Govt super multi-speciality hospital

Thursday, 14 March 2019 | Staff Reporter | GURUGRAM

The Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) will be constructing the first Government super multi-speciality hospital in Sector-67. The hospital  would come out on 10 acres of land and is estimated to cost around Rs 30 crores.

The construction of the proposed 350-bed super multi-speciality hospital was scheduled to start within one year. It was approved by the state government in the financial year 2019-20.

The hospital will consist of 15 to 16 floors with modern medical facilities like intensive care unit, high-tech special rooms for patients, separate wards for male and female patients, special labs, pathology department and outpatient department.

The need for a multi-speciality hospital is increasing because of increasing urbanisation. Currently, the cyber city has two government hospitals, one of which is situated in the middle of the city and the second is in Sector-10.
