Haryana chief electoral officer Rajeev Ranjan and Director General of Police (DGP) Manoj Yadava on Friday said that the general election to the 17th Lok Sabha in the state concluded peacefully.
Ranjan congratulated all the officers and officials of various departments, returning officers, assistant returning officers and their team members, personnel of Haryana Police and Central Paramilitary Forces for their active contribution in the successful organization of elections in the state in a free, fair and transparent manner.
DGP Manoj Yadava complimented the police officers, jawans and personnel of Central paramilitary forces for effective functioning ensuring peaceful and incident-free completion of entire electoral process at all places in the state. He also expressed satisfaction over getting full support from the public, political parties and their representatives.
Yadava said Haryana Police maintained same tempo till completion of the counting of votes across the state. We have also received complete support from the Central Government which had provided adequate number of Central armed paramilitary forces for elections, he said.
