IIM Rohtak to organise Infusion19

Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak is all set to host its three-day socio-cultural, sports and management fest, “Infusion 19” from January 11.

The 72-hour carnival will host a plethora of events ranging from business competitions to a live concert by the star singer and actor Harrdy Sandhu.

The event this year has seen a massive scale up as compared to last year because of the increased autonomy in its sprawling 200 acres campus which is a 90 minutes’ drive from Delhi, said an official spokesman.

“Events will witness participation of over 12000 students from across 250 institutes across India. Day one  will witness teams from all the top business schools in the country fighting it out in the multiple national level case study competitions organized by various clubs of Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak. A major attraction for the day will be comedy night, in which renowned stand-up comedians PratyushChaubey and KishorDayani will be performing followed by a live performance by the famous independent Hindi rock band Char Hazaari,” the spokesman said.

The biggest attraction of day two will be Femina Miss India campus round to be held for the first time in Rohtak.Femina  Miss India World 2018 Anukreety Vas will judge it. Infusion’19 will also host a beatboxing competition which is another first in any business school.

Fest will have a grand finale with a live concert by the heart-throb of Punjabi music industry Harrdy Sandhu which is scheduled on January 13.

Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director IIM Rohtak has said that Infusion is a socio-cultural-management flagship event of IIM Rohtak driven and managed by students.

Such programs are helpful in creating well rounded business leaders, he added.
