Railway passengers get bus ride

Passengers of Hatia-Howrah Shatabdi Express and Hatia-Patna Janshatabdi Express were today facilitated by the Ranchi Division of SER to embark on four AC Buses to reach Tatsilwai Railway Station from Ranchi Railway Station here on Tuesday. The passengers were taken to the Station and brought back to Ranchi Station in comfortable buses, where snacks were arranged and coolies were deputed for loading their luggage. The step was taken due to power block in the division, due to which movement of many trains got affected. Passengers coming to Ranchi from the two trains also got the bus facility.

Mothers' Day celebration at SBPS

Mother's day was celebrated on the premises of SBPS on Tuesday. To convey the joy and love for their mothers, the pupils of K.G to V prepared beautiful cards and coloured it whereas the pupils of  VI - XII penned their feelings through a thank you letter to mother and presented it to their respective mothers. Head personnel and Admin Pradip Varma said that these activities are conducted to imbibe moral values and to sensitize the students towards the love and sacrifice of their mothers. Principal Paramjit Kaur said that the aim of observing Mothers' Day is to acknowledge the contribution of all the mothers in nurturing the children.

CUJ gets AICTE approval for 5 PG courses

Central University of Jharkhand got AICTE approval for five Post graduate Engineering courses offered in different disciplines such as M. Tech in Nanotechnology, Energy Engineering, Water Engineering and resource management, Computer Science and Technology and Transport Science and Technology along with one Post graduate course in Master of Business Management.  The Vice Chancellor Professor Nand Kumar Yadav “Indu”, Professor SL Harikumar, Registrar and Professor Manoj Kumar, Professor In-charge Academics congratulate the CUJ faculties involved Dr. DB Laata, Associate Professor, Department of Energy Engineering, Dr. Gajendra Prasad Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Nanoscience and Technology, and Dr. Mahendra Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration for involvement in AICTE approval process.

Summer camp concludes at Balgopal

The four-day summer camp being organised at Balgopal Kids Academy, Lower Chutiya concluded with fervour on Tuesday. Tiny tots took part in fancy dress competition and watched magic show on the concluding day. Chief Guest CP Singh, Padma Shri recipient Mukund Nayak, Bal Vikas Samiti chairperson Rupa verma, Chhtradhari Singh alongwith others were present on the occasion.
