CM condoles death of Mishra

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today expressed grief over the death of former Bihar Chief Minister Jagganath Mishra. In his condolence message Das wished that the almighty may give peace to the departed soul and provide strength to the kin of Mishra in the hour of grief. Senior political leaders including JMM president Shibu Soren, Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren and others also expressed grief on the demise of former Bihar CM.

LHB coaches For Kriya Yoga Express

With a view to provide secured and comfortable journey to the travelling passengers, South Eastern Railway has decided to convert two rakes of 18615/18616 Howrah-Hatia-Howrah Kriya Yoga Express with most sophisticated and modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches instead of existing conventional coaches. w.e.f August 19 both from Howrah and Hatia.  With the introduction of LHB rake, 18615/18616 Howrah-Hatia-Howrah Kriya Yoga Express consisting of 22 coaches will have the following revised composition:-  First AC-1, AC 2 Tier-2, AC 3 Tier-4, Sleeper Class-11, General Second Class-2. As a result, there will be an increase of 120 reserved Capacity in each trip.

Toppers felicitated at CPS

Toppers of Class X-XII for session 2018-2019 were felicitated at Cambrian Public School, Ranchi on Monday. The toppers were given trophy and certificate during the programme, in which Principal Neeta Pandey said that self confidence, hard work, perseverance are the keys to success. She said that there is no shortcut to success. Sanskrit week was also inaugurated on the occasion in the school. Vice Principal UK Nayak alongwith other teachers were also present on the occasion.

Two children drowned

Two schoolchildren of a family, drowned in outlet of a dam at Hoor village under Garhwa police station, about 7 km away from the district headquarter, on Monday. The children identified as Rohit Kumar (5) and Sangita Kumari (7) sons of Magan Chandravanshi resident of Hoor village under Garhwa police station. Villager Vikas said that both children were returning from school and they went to take bath in an outlet flowing through the dam and started flowing in a sharp stream of water. To save him, his sister also went into the water and she also drowned.

Syndicate Bank holds consultative meet

In an attempt to contribute to make India as dollar 5 trillion economy, Syndicate Bank, Ranchi Circle held a two-day strategic discussion programme following instruction of Department of financial Services, Government of India concluded on Sunday. The Bank held the meeting the State Capital for its Brach Managers of all branches falls in Jharkhand to gather suggestions to accelerate its key policies. Joint Secretary DFS, Madnesh Kumar Mishra visited the State Capital to inform the bank officials and branch managers about importance of the programme. The Bank Regional Manager, N Shateesh was also present during the meeting.
