Ranchi:Under the leadership of the former JPCC secretary Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, public relations campaign was started in Diptipara in front of the residence of Minister CP Singh. The colony residents said that the Government and Ranchi Municipal Corporation have completely failed in development work, cleanliness of the drains, drinking water, 24 hours power supply and other vital issues.

SAIL, RINL-VSP ink MoU

Ranchi:R & D Centre, RINL-VSP and RDCIS, SAIL have signed an MoU on Saturday, at RDCIS, Ranchi, for carrying out collaborative research projects of National Importance. The MoU was signed by S. S. Das, General Manager (Planning Coordination) RDCIS and R. N. Bhattacharya GM (Technology & Research) in presence of senior officers of RDCIS and R & D Centre, RINL-VSP. The purpose of this MoU is to address the national concerns in Steel Industry by Joint Collaborative Projects Technology Awareness programmes etc. Joint visit of various laboratory facilities, including newly installed pot Pelletisation Laboratory at RDCIS was also made. 

E Summit 2019 at BIT, Mesra

Ranchi:E-Summit’19, the annual fest of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra started on Saturday with its flagship event, “B-Plan”. The investors of the event were Anil Joshi from Unicorn India Ltd. and Shashikant Chaudhary from Nagpur Angels.

BoI MD visits Ranchi

Ranchi:Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of India, Dinabandhu Mohapatra, visited the Zonal Office of the Bank in Ranchi on Saturday. During the visit General Manager, Human Resources Department, Ishwar Chandra Mishra was also present and General Manager NBG Chandrashekhar Sahay, Deputy General Manager, SLBC Vincent Lakra, Chief Executive Officer of Jharkhand Gramin Bank Sandeep Sarkar, Zonal Manager of Bank of India Ranchi Zone Tejeshwar Patnaik, and Deputy Chief regional Managers Umesh Kumar Rath and Anil Kumar alongwith all the staff members of the Zonal Office and NBG welcomed him. The MD inaugurated ‘Bhagwan Birsa Munda Auditorium’. He encouraged all the staff and said that their customers have better facilities. He said that banking sector is the strongest backbone of the economy of the country.

IICM is heritage of Jharkhand

Ranchi:Indian Institute of Coal Management is not only for Jharkhand but it is the heritage of the country and it is our duty to save it, it is the obligation of the employees to the officers, the 25-year-old institution where people come from every corner of the country.

There is a good atmosphere here and it need to be maintained due to its dignified history, only then the heritage will survive said former Union Minister and Congress leader, Subodhkant Sahai on Saturday while participating new year function organised by INTUC leader Ajay Rai.
