The iTunes organised its 3rd musical night for a social cause with many talented singers of Odisha here on Monday.
Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) Chairman Upendra Nath Behera and Finance Special Secretary Pradeep Biswal attended as guest and inaugurated the programme in presence of trustees of iTunes and children of Orphanage Asha Kiran.
The programme began with a dance performance by the kids of Asha Kiran followed by singers guided by Classical Guru Pandit (Dr) Chitta Ranjan Pani, Guru Nalini Kanta Rath and Guru Sarada Prasanna Sahoo.
On the occasion, Abhijit Padhi and Saranya Mishra were felicitated for representing Odisha in Indian Idol 11, Mumbai auditions.
iTunes organiser Janhabi Deo said that it is planning to do some more musical night in near future to promote noble causes like upliftment of the children of slum area,
promote education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects.
