KVS files plaint against fraudulent emails for teaching posts

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan (KVS) has filed a police complaint with the Kishan Garh Police Station after a number of candidates appearing and shortlisted for various teaching posts started filing complaints about getting unwanted scrupulous and fraudulent calls and e-mails demanding bribe money for facilitating in KVS recruitment.

“KVS has received several complaints through e-mail and telephonic calls from the prospective candidates shortlisted for the interview to be held shortly for various posts such as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Primary Teacher (PT) (Music) and Librarian, that they are getting telephone calls from unscrupulous callers demanding money for facilitating in KVS recruitment,” said an official of KVS.

“After witnessing such complaint from the candidates, KVS has lodged a complaint with Delhi Police at Kishangarh Police Station in this regard and a “Public Notice” has also been issued and uploaded on the KVS website informing the candidates to be alert and aware of such fraudulent calls,” said the official.

In September 2018, the KVS started the recruitment process for a total of 8339 post of  PGT, TGT, musician, librarian and principal for its schools across the country.

“Despite the Public Notice if any candidate falls prey to the fraud perpetrated by the unscrupulous elements, then he/she shall be responsible for his/her conduct.

It may be noted that the process of recruitment in KVS is carried out with utmost transparency, objectivity and fairness and it leaves no scope for manipulation of any kind,” added the official. 

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan is the Central Government organisation under which schools are located in across the country in the same name for the wards of central government employee, armed police persons, Central Industrial Security Forces, Air force, Bhartiya Security Force (BSF) and others.

At present, there are around 1199 KV schools are located across around 25 regions with a total of 1276963 students and 45477 employess.
