On the second and concluding day of Bank of India’s Customer Meet cum public relations programme a large number of customers participated in the programme here on Saturday. The Ranchi circle of the bank distributed loans worth Rs 30 crore on the occasion.

General Manager of Bank of India cum State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC)  Chandrashekhar Sahay, Circle Manager of Bank of India, Tejeshwar Patnaik, Deputy Zonal Managers Umesh Kumar Rath and Anil Kumar Jha were present as well as Punjab National Bank Deputy General Manager Sandeep Kumar Panigrahi, Circle Head of Oriental Bank of Commerce Pulin Patnaik, Central Bank of India Deputy General Manager Ajay Kumar Singh and UCO Bank’s Deputy General Manager Gautam Patra were present on the occasion.

On the lines of first day of the programme traders related to NBFC, MFI, SHG, MSME, Mudra, Retail and Agriculture related business had an actve participation in the event. The event was also organized to meet the goals of financial inclusion, including initiatives to promote digital payments and reach customers. It will also help in establishing the PSB in a new form while doing social service and branding it in a new avatar. The aim of such a programme is to reproduce the ability and willingness of the PSB to provide finance to all eligible sections of the economy. Its objective is to have active participation of banks towards making India a $ 5 trillion economy.

This type of initiative will not only bring significant improvement in various market segments but will also help in formulating an inclusive framework for providing institutional finance to various sectors. Additionally, customers will also get support in this festive season.
