Sudarshan Bhagat, the newly elected BJP MP from Lohardaga, was given a rousing welcome in city. The BJP supporters and cadres welcomed Bhagat by taking out a victory procession from Rana Chowk which passed through major roads in the city. The BJP workers, on the occasion, distributed sweets, played with colours and also burst crackers. Bhagat, the two time BJP MP was pitted against Congress MLA Sukhdeo Bhagat, where Sudarshan won the election by the slender margin of around 10,000 votes. The BJP workers during the victory procession dance to the tune of Mandar and Nagras. The BJP MP thanks the people of Lohardaga for making Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hand stronger. On the occasion, Lohardaga BJP president Rajmohan Ram, former MLA Ramesh Oraon, Matti Kala Board chairman Srichand Prasad, BJP leader Om Prakash Singh, Chandrasekhar Agrwal, Rakesh Prasad, Naren Raj, senior BJP leader Sitaram Sharma, Rajesh Mahto, Niraj Nallen, AJSU leader Suraj Agarwal and large number of NDA leaders were present on the occasion.
