Madhya Pradesh State Karate Academy players win 4 gold

In the 65th National School Competition, four girls boarding players of Madhya Pradesh State Karate Academy won 4 gold, two day-boarding players bagged a gold, a silver and two boys won a gold, a silver medal for Madhya Pradesh.

The championship is being held in Jabalpur from December 1 to 6. L Medal winners met the Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Jeetu Patwari and Director of Sports SL Thoussen. Both of them  congratulated all the medal winners.

Boarding players Gargi Singh Parihar (-68 kg), Anvesha Singh Chauhan (-56 kg), Isha Malviya (-48 kg) and Yogita Raj Goswami ($ 68 kg) earned one gold medal each in the competition. Similarly, day-boarding player Sanskriti Soni (-44 kg) won the gold and Anshita Rawat (-48 kg) won the silver medal. In the competition, Academy's pay and play player Rajveer Singh (-40 kg) earned gold and Divyansh Baraiya (-35 kg) earned silver.

The said players are trained under the guidance of Jaidev Sharma, Chief Instructor of Karate Academy.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh State Athletics Academy players performed brilliantly in Madhya Pradesh State Athletics Academy.

They gave an impressive performance in Sangrur, Punjab from December 4 to 8, bagging one gold, two silver and two bronze medals to Madhya Pradesh. The match was played on Thursday.

Academy player Bajrangi Prajapati made a new national record in 5 thousand meters walking distance and completed the race in 20: 42.71 minutes and second and gave Madhya Pradesh a gold medal. In the year 2018, Bajrangi earned the gold medal, breaking the record of 20: 53.65 minutes and second of Uttarakhand player Paramjit Singh.

In the long jump event of the competition, Avinash Kumar jumped 7.09 meters to win the silver medal. While in the 1500m race, Academy players Arjun Vaskale (3: 54.25m / s) and Rajat and Abhishek Thakur (3: 54.37m/s) and Bushra Khan Gauri (4: 39.59m /s) won a bronze medal.
