Man found murdered in Mahabali Nagar

A 40-year-old man was found murdered at his house in Mahabali Nagar under Kolar police station in the morning on Tuesday.

Police team rushed to the spot after friends of deceased Sameer Ghosh informed regarding body lying in a pool of blood.

SHO Kolar Anil Bajpai said that the deceased used to live with father and brother who are in Kolkata and have been informed regarding the death of Sameer. They would reach the State Capital in the afternoon on September 11.

The deceased was hit on his head by sharp edged or blunt object as wound was found in the head which would be revealed in the post mortem report.

At the moment nothing could be ascertained as statements of the family members and friends are yet to be recorded which could help in determining the reason of the murder. He used to work as property agent and was not married, he added.

Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.

The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

The call record details of the deceased would be investigated. The deceased used to deal in selling and buying property and possibly he was killed on the account of any dealing of property. All possibilities of killing of the deceased would be investigated, said police.

In the morning after deceased failed to respond to the phone calls of his friends and was checked at the house he was found killed.
