The Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD) has taken a step towards enhancing its paperless services by launching a digital portal for facilitation of easier payment of property tax by residents of slums in the city on Thursday. The portal was inaugurated by the mayor of Dehradun, Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’.

The municipal commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said that the residents of slums can now pay their property tax using the online facility. Not just property tax but also they can fill the related form online at the official website of the municipality which is nagarnigamdehradun.com.

Pandey made the public aware by explaining the procedure to use the portal and to pay property tax online. He informed the residents that the payee will have login under the Malin Basti Property Tax Form via their registered mobile numbers.
