MeT: Shower pattern to continue for 3-4 days

State and State Capital are experiencing lull phase for the past two days with light and heavy showers for brief periods and pattern would continue for the next 3-4 days.

In the past 24 hours Indore, Ujjain and Chambal divisions recorded rainfall at few places. On Saturday during the day bright sun light was witnessed increasing the temperature and rainfall in the evening made the weather conditions soothing.

The weather conditions on Sunday were different with dark dense cloud which poured in the afternoon. In the evening heavy spell for brief period was witnessed and later rainfall faded in the night.

State capital recorded day temperature at 29 degree Celsius while night temperature was recorded at 23 degree Celsius. The weather conditions would remain cloudy and intermittent rainfall would be witnessed in the next 24 hours.

Few regions recorded good rainfall while most of the regions have not reported rainfall in the past 24 hours. The regions which recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours are  Sheopur and Mehangaon which recorded 4 cm of rainfall, Ajaygarh, Bhind recorded 2 cm of rainfall, Paraswada, Nalchha, Badwani, Begumganj, Agar, Guna, Lahar, Shajapur recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Met department told that cyclonic circulation persisting over north Bay of Bengal - West Bengal coast, a low pressure area formed over central parts of gangetic west bengal and adjoining parts of Jharkhand. Under the Influence of this low pressure area, the eastern and central parts of the state will receive good rainfall in the next 3-4 days.
