A positive decision will be taken shortly on demands of outsource and contractual employees of the Energy Department. A new policy will be prepared to resolve the cases of appointment on compassionate ground. Difficulties of e-attendance will be removed. The Minister for Energy Priyavrat Singh made these announcements at the State Seminar of Madhya Pradesh Electricity Employees Federation (INTUC).
Singh said that action in connection to fill all the vacant posts including line men has already been initiated. Moreover, a committee comprising members of the cabinet has been constituted to redress the problems of contractual employees.
Along with this, a separate high level committee will also be formed.
