Miscreants decamped with valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh in Bhopal

Miscreants decamped with valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh from Shri Krishna Heights under Katara Hills police station area on Thursday.

According to the police victim Supritam Majumdar lodged a complaint regarding burglary after his neighbours informed about the same. On Thursday after her neighbours informed her regarding broken locks and open doors victim came to Bhopal on Friday and after checking the valuables lodged complaint with Katara Hills.

In the complaint the victim has claimed that he works in Pune Maharashtra and his mother lives in the apartment. Few days ago she went to meet him in Pune where neighbors informed that the valuables have been burgled. In the burglary gold jewelry and silver jewelry worth Rs 1.5 lakh were found missing when he came to house on Thursday.

Based on the complaint the police registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC. In the burglary the almirah which was having the valuables was targeted and the other valuables were not disturbed. The lock of the almirah was found broken and the cash and gold jewelry were found burgled. Neighbors expressed ignorance over any kind of noise related to breaking of the locks and have not spotted any strangers in the area.

The victim is a resident of Shri Krishna Heights which was targeted by the burglars. The burglars were aware regarding the whereabouts of the family and committed the burglary when the family was away. The domestic help and security guard of the locality would be questioned.

In the complaint the victim has claimed that a gold necklace, gold finger rings, one pair of silver anklets, silver malware worth 1.5 lakh were burgled. In the burglary no cash was stolen.
