Monitoring must for better execution of programmes by health department: Min

Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare Tulsiram Silawat said that the Senior Officers posted at Mantralaya and Directorate must visit divisions and districts.

He mentioned that monitoring is essential for better implementation of programmes run by the Health Department.

Minister Silawat was reviewing the departmental activities on Saturday evening at Mantralaya.

Principal Secretary Pallavi Jain Govil, Director National Health Mission Chhavi Bhardwaj and other officers were present during the review.

The Minister, Silawat said that the process of recruitment for the post of doctors, nurses and NMM etc. should be sped up.

He also directed to speed up opening of new primary health centres, sub-health centres and civil hospitals along with upgradation of old centres.
