A mild yet enjoyable musical evening was organised at Rabindranath Tagore National University on Thursday. The live concert was performed by Kabir Café, a Neo-Folk Music Band under the event Rhythm 2019.

It was a unique combination of various styles. Their energy level showed their love for poetry of Kabir and the audience too enjoyed the most. The band performed dohas like Amritvaani, Mann Mast Bhaya, Vaari Jaoun, Ghat Ghat Charkha, Muniya and more leaving the audience mesmerized.
Neeraj Arya, the founder and lead vocalist of the group is a self-trained musician from Delhi. He brings a stylish flair to the age-old lyrics of Kabir’s wisdom through his contemporary style. Mukund Ramaswamy, the violinist of the band and a trained Carnatic musician. Raman Iyer, who plays the mandolin, is also trained in the classical tradition of Hindustani and Carnatic music.
