On the second day of the national workshop on IoT Interfacing for Green Energy System was completed successfully at BIT, Mesra on Wednesday. The day was hosted by academician Dr. K.C Jana, Professor, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, who shared his knowledge on grid interfacing of renewable energies.
The workshop aims to find the benefits of green energy and modernize the techniques of grid integration and its control using Internet of Things (IoT).
The session was then carried forward by professional experts from Tata Steel who highlighted how Tata Steel is uplifting their business tactics by interlacing the concepts of cloud computing, IoT, Data Analytics and aiming for a smart manufacturing ecosystem.
The workshop also consisted of an additional practical session lead by coordinators, Dr. Aftab Alam and Dr. S. Shiva Kumar.
The third day of the workshop was hosted by various academicians like Dr. K.C Jana, Professor, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad who shared his knowledge on grid interfacing of renewable energies.
This was followed by Dr Dipankar Debnath, Professor, IIT Kharagpur who held his lectures on topics like Unity Power Factor Rectifier and Maximum Power Tracking Techniques.
The workshop is aimed to exploit the benefits of green energy and modernise the techniques of grid integration and its control using Internet of Things (IoT).
The participants had hands on experience regarding the various hardware being used and better visuals of the concepts that are being talked about.
