As part of Navy Day Celebrations 2019, the Naval Officer-in-Charge (Odisha) and INS Chilka organised an Indian Naval Band Concert at Utkal Mandap here on Saturday.
Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra, the chief guest of the occasion, was received by Naval Officer-in-Charge (Odisha) and Station Commander INS Chilka Commander Rituraj Sahu.
In keeping with the Military Pageantry and Revelry, the band enthralled the audience by beginning the concert with a powerful fanfare followed by a versatile performance of seventeen scores ranging from military tunes to Bollywood numbers including Odia fusion music.
The event concluded with the “Tri - Services Marching Medley” comprising of signature tunes by the Indian Armed Forces.
Many civilian dignitaries, retired military personnel, serving officers of Indian Armed Forces, Odisha Police attended the programme.
