NIPM holds two-day annual conference

The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Dehradun chapter organised its 18th annual conference at Nainital on the theme of reimagining HR: transforming technology, talent and ideas.

The conference was attended by more than 60 delegates from different parts of the country representing organisations such as ONGC, THDCIL, Goa Shipyard Limited, UJVN Limited and others. Speakers from leading multinationals like Ernst and Young, Mercer Consultancy, KPMG, ONGC and academicians from leading institutes of the country deliberated on the theme of the conference.

The conference was inaugurated by THDCIL director (HR) Vijay Goel along with historian and activist Shekhar Pathak.

During the two-event, the speakers reflected on the need for maintaining  balance between development and ecology, impact of new technologies in human resource management.

They also discussed internet, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, machine learning and their right application in industry. The participants also discussed issues related to managing change and building culture of high performance in organisations.
